Billy à vie is a dive into schizophrenia like never before. A documentary work to help anyone who encounters schizophrenia, to understand and share the experience of a relentless illness, lived from within. A book to make peace. A book meant to serve as a tool to complement the film. Each work can stand alone, but together, they’re even better!

Lawrence Côté-Collins
Lawrence is a transparent artist. An authentic queer woman. Unfiltered. Unapologetic. She has an unconventional background in film and television. She has directed more than forty short films and three feature films: Écartée (2016), Bungalow (2022), and Billy (2024). Several of her films have been selected and awarded at festivals around the world. She co-authors, with Billy à vie, her first book as a curator. She also gives custom conferences: Living without alcohol - Supporting and Understanding Prison - Restorative Justice - The ABCs of Cinema. Contact her for a custom conference tailored to your needs!
Vuk Stojanović
Vuk Stojanovic is a producer, filmmaker, cinematographer, and actor. He collaborated on several feature films, “On the Moon of Nickel and Ice” by François Jacob (Visions du Réel, Hot-Docs), “Gamma Rays” by Henry Bernadet (New Directors, San Sebastian Film Festival, Cinemania), “Écartée” by Lawrence Côté-Collins (Fantasia). Vuk is also the Artistic Director of FFAVM – Festival de films d’auteur de Val-Morin.
